Claire is a media artist and painter, that unites traditional art and sustainability. This unconventional thinking has led her to breathe new life in to items otherwise destined for the landfill.

She is an example if an artist’s journey of the battle to create and the battle of expectations of self, family and friends. Art is not a safe path, it is unpredictable.  Sometimes an artist strays from their original plan to explore more stable pathways; only to return when you can no longer resist the call.

having graduated from Alberta College of Arts and Design she furthered her education in interior design and architecture and is currently working for Stantec as an intermediate interior designer. Having satisfied the education and career pathway she recently has returned to painting. This is her first art show since graduating from art school representing a 10 year sabbatical.
